We stayed at Madison River Lodge for a college reunion trip with Montana Angler, and it couldn’t have been better. The location is unbeatable—right on the Madison with easy access to great fishing from the property. The lodge is comfortable and well-designed, with private rooms, great common areas, and amazing views. The guides were top-notch, the food was excellent, and the staff made everything seamless. Between the fishing, hospitality, and setting, this was one of the best trips we’ve had.

I spent over 30 years in customer service and am here to tell you these folks get it! Jay, RJ, Olivia, Rachel and Emily are a team that excels at making sure your time with them is more than what you expected. Everything was top notch from the fishing, the service and the food, oh the FOOD! RJ’s creations are a true culinary experience. I will never look at scrambled eggs the same and Jay’s dinner wine selections were perfect. Haven’t even mentioned the fishing which was awesome and my brother and I were fortunate to be paired with other awesome quests! Keep it rolling team, the experience you gave us was much appreciated! PS-enjoy your much deserved time off once the snow flies!

This is my 3rd trip to Madison River Lodge. We rented the whole lodge and hosted a 4-night customer appreciation trip. The hospitality that Jay, RJ and Olivia blessed us with is impeccable! They made our trip extremely easy, comfortable and convenient. Well done!

A fishing buddy and I spent 5 full days fly fishing here. The lodge is comfortable and located in the heart of the best fly fishing on the Madison River. The staff is friendly and eager to make your experience top notch. The chef is spectacularly talented … 4 course gourmet meals every evening and hearty breakfasts to start your day fishing the river. Wine pairings are excellent. Over our 5 days we had 3 guides. Each was excellent and put us on fish, even when the trout were being finicky. Their drift boats and fishing gear are all in excellent condition. Each guide has extensive knowledge and experience on the Madison River.

The Madison River Lodge is phenomenal. The staff is always ready to help make the visit great, from offering drinks to keeping the campfire going. One of the best parts is the food. Chef RJ’s meals were outstanding. I can’t think of any restaurant I’ve eaten at that has better food than he made.

I mean WOW! What an experience for my first trip to Montana! The staff at the lodge is so friendly and accommodating, the rooms are beautifully appointed with the most comfy beds (I slept 9 hours every night), the views are impeccable and the meals were absolutely 5 star restaurant worthy! The fishing was spectacular and my guides each day were friendly, knowledgeable and put me on some great fish! I will definitely be back!
